Description: This is the last bit on your quilt that answers all the questions. It’s the one piece of information that will tell your story in its entirety and is the one element most often deleted. I’ll show you the who – what – why – where and when of making a creative, fun label. I believe this is the most important part of a quilt, besides finishing it! There are no limits to your creativity when it comes to a label. No size, shape, or concept limits. Just imagine!

Description: Prepared edge appliqué method using freezer paper to create a fabric edge that is ready for stitching. Learn the hand appliqué stitch, how to baste the layers of fabric, and learn some options for hand quilting or domestic machine quilting. Other methods of creating a prepared edge using a stabilizer and glue/starch will be demonstrated.

If you would like to take this innovative class from a delightfully entertaining teacher, start saving your selvages now.
Remember to cut a 1/2 inch above the top of the selvage, so you include a 1/2” of fabric.
Learn how to incorporate selvages in the ultimate scrap quilt project.
We will piece together a variety of blocks plus border units to use in a sampler table runner or project of your choice.
